Young adults

LiVE

A LiVE group is a committed core of Jesus’ followers who live out his mission together in specific areas – like evangelism, justice, mercy, service. They demonstrate and declare the gospel in tangible ways. Each group is led by a team of leaders who shepherd, equip, and organize the group on mission projects. LIVE groups are Springwood and Winmalee Night Church throughout the week. They aim to identify, train, and send out new leaders to lead new LIVE groups. LIVE groups operate unlike a Bible Study group and more like a family, a missionary team, a band of servants.

• LiVE at the Factory
  organised by Factory Night Church
  Meeting at the Factory, 7:00-9:00pm Wednesdays
  For people from Year 11 to age 30, led by Brad and Katherine Konemann, Josh Maule and Sam Atwood, they will have whole group time for singing, praying, announcements and brief Bible Study from the front; then split into small focus groups for Bible study, PTC subjects, planning service projects, etc.

• iLiVE (Senior High)

  Meeting at the 231 Great Western Highway Warrimoo, 7:00pm Wednesdays
  In 2009 we’re working on being an open community that constantly invites new people to join us. We’re mostly between the ages of 16-18 but we’re not restricted to that. The Wortley’s house has a pool, spa, pool table… and it’s a great space to be in. This year we have some cool things planned - we’re going to think about the place of the creative arts in Church, including visual art, graphic design and drama. We'll do a couple of dramas in church and Easter. We'll also work on putting together our testimonies and having a go at sharing them. And we want to look closely at the character of Jesus in the Gospels.

  We’re back and ready to roll! It's a new year, just think of all the possibilities! Is it time to work/study/figure out what to do with your life? Then come to original LIVE! We want to stand beside you as you try to find your life direction, and we want to be there while you start your journey. We want to celebrate your progress, and help nut out the tough stuff, like how to be a Christian in the workplace, and how to reflect Christ at uni and tafe. We're all in it together. At the starting line we'll get stuck into the bible, think about how to RUN church, head out to Bathurst to run for something real. We don't know where we'll end up, because you're a part of it. We're here with you, part of the team, part of the family, pressing on towards the goal. Be ready to be challenged and challenge others. We’re an anchor, a place to belong. Welcome to the family.

• LiVE 2.0 (Twentysomethings)
  organised by Winmalee Night Church
  Meeting at 18 Durali Ave, Winmalee, 7:30pm Mondays
  This year LIVE 2.0 is focusing on supporting those of you in your 20's (or thereabouts). If you’re in leadership we can help you plan lessons and activities… or just provide somewhere to reconnect with others and God. You may just need a hug, a cup of coffee, a shoulder or an ear. If you want we can help you plan an event. We’ll also have in-depth looks at particular topics and books of the Bible. We’ll pray for each other, share life together and provide both pastoral and practical help and studies... whatever is needed.
