Church@5 on the highway
Church@5 on the highway began in February 2006.
It has also been great to experience church on a smaller scale with more opportunity to get to know each other and lots of chances for different people to be involved.
A key feature of the new church has been the 10 minute coffee break in the middle of the church meeting where we get to enjoy good food and chat over coffee. Starting at 5.00pm also means we have more time to interact during church and to hang around afterwards for picnics in the grounds or pizza.
In February 2006 we spent time looking at a series on 'Biblical Church', and it has been encouraging to be taught from God's word, the value of Christians meeting together to share their lives, to spur one another on and to exercise their gifts in service of one another.
Please keep praying for our new church - that we would alway s seek to bring honour and glory to our great God and that like the early church we would be devoted to the Apostles' teaching, to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer (Acts 2:42).
