About SOAP

SOAP (Speak out against Persecution) has been formed by members of the church family to provide the other members with information about the oppression of fellow Christians and other innocent victims throughout the world and to suggest actions that might be taken on their behalf.

This website provides regular updates on cases that have been raised and provides information about new cases and model letters which can be used to write on behalf of the persecuted.

Write a letter

With new cases and updates, we provide information and model letters.

The letters are models only. If you are rushed for time by all means use them but it's better if you can write your own letter by moving things around and putting in material from the background information provided. Best of all, write your letter in your own handwriting.

Letters should be brief and to the point, and of course courteous. The name(s) of the person(s) on whose behalf you are writing should be prominent so that if the government official does not bother to read it all at least he/she will know the subject of your letter.
