20th July 2008 Parish Anniversary Celebration Day
For the first time in our
history, all our 10 congregations
will meet as one at the
new Wycliffe Christian
School auditorium to
celebrate our anniversary
year — 120 Years for the
Parish and 50 Years for St George's Winmalee.
Canon John Chapman has accepted our invitation
to be our Guest Speaker.
We will meet at 10.30 am for our special church
— this will include presentations, input from our
youth & children's ministries, a children's
program and will be followed by a light lunch. A
new Parish Anniversary DVD will be launched at
this celebration.
This will be the only church meeting held in the Parish that Sunday — so that we can all be together to celebrate God's goodness in calling us out to be His people here on the Lower Blue Mountains.
So put this in the diary now (20th of July, 2008) and don't miss it for quids - it only comes around every 120—50 years!
