10 years ago we extensively surveyed people living in our Parish. We asked them 6 or 7 simple questions about their views on church, God and life. We knocked on their doors and some of our members even did phone surveying. This was before the days of annoying dinner time phone advertising.

People loved to give their opinions. And we're going to give it another go in a month or two (without the phone calls this time).

But what was amazing was their answer to our question "If a friend asked you to church, would you go?" Around 50% of people answer "yes" or "possibly". Makes you wonder what would happen if we all asked 2 friends to come to church with us next Sunday, doesn't it? And if they did, would we be ready for them?"
